Did you know that Renewal by Andersen’s presence at the 2013 Minnesota State Fair benefited the National Breast Cancer Foundation?
Renewal by Andersen donated $5 for each in-home consultation its team booked during the fair’s 12-day run. Employees working the booth also wore pink ribbon embroidered shirts and handed out pink tote bags to the first 100 visitors each day. Customers who booked consultations also received a free bag.
The breast cancer awareness effort – the brainchild of Renewal by Andersen’s State Fair Committee – paid off with thousands of fairgoers stopping by the booth. More important, the effort raised $4,000 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
“The fund-raiser went incredibly well,” said Cody Horton, senior Retail Marketing planner. “We plan to continue these efforts next year and hopefully keep building not only awareness but also the donation amount.”
