New Windows are Great Investments That Will Pay Off

June 23, 2014

According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration Annual Energy outlook for 2013, there will be an average 2% increase per year on energy consumption until 2040. This will likely increase more depending on the state of the economy. This information should serve to remind us to be smart consumers by being energy efficient.

As the rate for residential utility cost in Wisconsin is quite high – ranked 13th in the country – you should pay attention to ways in which you can cut down on your energy use. For instance, with having inefficient windows, you are letting air leak in and out of your house, which increases the demand for heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

Old, drafty, inefficient windows are not only unsightly, they can cost you real money sending that expensive air conditioned air right out the windows. Replacing them can help reduce your energy costs, improve your family’s comfort and enhance the overall appearance…

…If you’re planning to stay in your home for a few more years, updating old windows with energy efficient ones is one of the best investments you can make. Short term, you’All save up to 30 percent on energy bills. Long term, you can expect, as Hicks said, up to a 70 percent return on your investment. Good replacement windows are durable, easy to maintain, provide better security and reduce glare and outside noise.

Obviously, updating old windows offers significant advantages that will pay the cost of the installation and material in a short amount of time. This means you shouldn’t be afraid of the replacement window cost in Milwaukee because investing is all about spending money smart – with new windows, you’re basically assured to get your money back quickly.

Hear From Our Customers

This was a great crew to work with. Both the original install manager we worked with (Jay) and the install team (Daniel, Mason, Tony, Ethan, and Jose). Everyone was very professional and knowledgable. They answered all my questions and the end result on the house is great. In 3 days they replaced an old bay window with a new bay window, a set of french doors on the patio with a sliding patio door, and our old front door with a new front door and storm door.

I cant express how happy we are with choosing Andersen for our window installation. Our sales representative was knowledgeable with product and answered any questions we had without hesitation. I did also fill out a survey that was sent in an email, but sadly I failed to personally name the two gentlemen that performed the actual installation. Barrett and Francisco were our guys, and let me tell you, they were outstanding!!! They did Excellent work and were professional as well as efficient and made this a smooth, none evasive process for us. I strongly recommend this company and these installers to anyone in need of windows!!! My husband and I could not be more pleased we chose Andersen for replacing our windows!!!

Jason and Brett did an awesome job installing our doors. We had separate installers a month earlier for our windows who also did a fantastic job. They were all very professional and cleaned up almost better than the area looked before the installation! Since these were both jobs that took more than one day the installers were great at keeping us informed on the status of where the project was at along the way.
